Horsford Must Be Defeated
Las Vegas, NV…Today Sam Peters, United States Air Force veteran and Republican candidate for Congress in Nevada’s 4th District, reported that one of his Primary opponents Lisa Song Sutton has signed his Republican Unity Pledge.
“We must be united after the Primary in defeating Congressman Steve Horsford, who broke his oath of office when posting how illegal immigrants can avoid ICE officials,” said Peters. “I am pleased that Lisa Song Sutton is following our lead on wanting to be united after the Primary.”
The Republican Unity Pledge simply asks Peters’ opponents to unify after the June 9th GOP Primary behind the nominee to defeat Congressman Horsford. He or she would encourage his or her supporters to join the nominee’s team.
Peters has emailed the pledge to the other Republican candidates including Rebecca Woods, Randi Reed, James Marchant, Leo Blundo, Charles Navarro, and Catherine Prato. So far, only Lisa Song Sutton has signed the pledge.
“As a father, husband, business owner and veteran, I understand what is at stake in the next election. We cannot afford another 2 years of Horsford’s extreme liberal agenda. He supports socialized medicine which will cause a rationing of service and a decline in research. We need a Congressman who will put the people of Nevada ahead of the Progressive Caucus’ government giveaway agenda that will ruin healthcare and bankrupt our nation,” said Peters.
Peters is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He served his country in Afghanistan, Iraq, Panama, and Korea. He earned the Bronze Star for his efforts in Afghanistan.
After his service to our nation, Peters settled in Las Vegas with his family. Peters worked for two years as a corporate employee where he managed nearly $100 million in annual revenue across the largest geographical region in the United States. Exercising his entrepreneurial spirit, Peters founded Peters Family Insurance with two locations. He presently employs eight.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Park University. He finished his Master of Science in Administration, with focus on law, through Central Michigan University. His continued thirst for knowledge, has also led him through a Graduate-Level Certificate Program in Organizational Finance from the University of Maryland University College.
