There Is No Place For Partisanship In War On Terror
Las Vegas, NV…Today Sam Peters, United States Air Force veteran, Bronze Star recipient, and Republican candidate for Congress in Nevada’s 4th District, praised President Donald J. Trump in ordering the drone attack that killed the Iranian terrorist mastermind, Qassem Suleimani. Peters noted that Suleimani was directly responsible for the taking of American lives since 1981 and was actively planning numerous attacks on American interests when he was killed. Peters stated that there is no place for partisanship in the war on terror and condemned Democrats who are taking a partisan approach over the killing and battling terrorism as Congressman Steven Horsford has done.
“As a veteran who served in both Afghanistan and Iraq, I am relieved that this depraved terrorist, with so much blood on his hands, is dead. The world is a safer place today with him gone. I’m also proud to know our military is prepared to do their duty if we or our interests are threatened or attacked. I will remind Congressman Horsford to not use partisanship as a political excuse not to support our President or our fine military heroes who led this successful mission. There is no place for it in the war on terror,” said Peters.
Peters is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He served his country in Afghanistan, Iraq, Panama, and Korea. He earned the Bronze Star for his efforts in Afghanistan.
After his service to our nation, Peters worked for two years as a corporate employee where he managed nearly $100 million in annual revenue across the largest geographical region in the United States. Peters settled in Las Vegas with his family, and exercising his entrepreneurial spirit, Peters founded Peters Family Insurance with two locations. He presently employs eight.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Park University. He finished his Master of Science in Administration, with focus on law, through Central Michigan University. His continued thirst for knowledge, has also led him through a Graduate-Level Certificate Program in Organizational Finance from the University of Maryland University College.
